1908 Action photograph of Hall of Famer Rube Waddell from the St. Louis Browns warming up before he took the mound. Images of Waddell are extremely rare with only a handful of vintage examples that might come up for sale in the hobby with most being posed studio shots. There are less than ten known action photographs we have seen with this being the only known example of this particular pose we have found in our research. Issued by the Giliams Press Syndicate with a small piece of the paper caption visible. The photo is bold and beautiful with a couple corner chips on the lower portion being the only flaws. Offered here for the first time ever, this is a Hall of Fame worthy relic from one of the top pitchers in baseball history.
