Dated January 1927 photograph of Hall of Famer Babe Ruth as he enjoyed some off-season hunting before the start of his next season. Babe would have no way of knowing, but the next ten months would be his greatest ever and he would lead the finest baseball team yet assembled to a dominant run capped off by a World Series Championship! An impressive image from Pacific and Atlantic in decent shape overall but with a fine image. This is one of the earliest images of Ruth hunting we have seen and one of only a handful of pre-season 1927 images as well!
