1928 Photograph of Mayor Jimmy Walker throwing out the first pitch at Yankee Stadium to open the baseball season in the Bronx. He is flanked by American League President Ernest Barnard and also Yankees Hall of Fame owner Jacob Ruppert as well. This was the first game at the stadium since the end of the 1927 World Series! Photo is a unique new discovery from a New York Newspaper and it is being offered here for the first time ever! A double weight silver gelatin image in great shape with a touch of crazing being the only flaw.
